Unfortunately, all watersports are affected by the weather.  The weather can effect the conditions, depending on a number of factors.   Sometimes it's not a case of being too rough but too calm, if you're looking for a good sail or adrenalin ride on the RIBs! We base our decision on various factors that could affect your time with us eg:  what's the sea state like?  who's going to be on board? what time of day is it and how long are we going to be out for? 

We start to get an accurate picture of the weather about 3 days ahead.  If it seems the weather is going to be adverse, we would usually contact you 48 hours in advance to re-arrange.  To get some idea of the resources we base our decisions on, please follow the links below.

Weather is just one, albeit the main, factor outside our control.  The decision whether to run the course/trip rests always with the skipper and we as a company will back the skipper's decision, in the interest of your safety.  In the event of cancelling, we will be happy to re-arrange to another day that is suitable for all or, if no alternative can be found, refund any payments fully.
